Join us for an engaging online conversation with two remarkable individuals, Ainura Sagyn from Kyrgyzstan and Sebastian Schiek from Germany, as they discuss the dynamic world of social entrepreneurship and its central role in promoting sustainable development. Social entrepreneurs like Ainura and Sebastian are not just focused on economic sustainability, but also on the social impact they want their business to have.
Ainura Sagyn is the co-founder of green tech startup TAZAR, which connects waste producers with recyclers to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. Ainura was featured in the BBC's 100 most influential women from around the world in 2022.
Sebastian Schiek, a DAAD alumnus with a PhD in political science specialising in international politics and development, has made the transition from a distinguished career as a senior researcher to co-founder of the SPCE Hub, an inter-cultural research facilitator and ‘think & do hub’ for Living Labs with a focus on energy transition, mobility and inclusive development.
In this talk, they will share their journey as founders, their missions, visions and collaborations. But they also look forward to answer questions from the audience and exchange. There will also be time for questions and answers and a chance for discussion with the audience.
