How does it work?

Job offers

You may publish your offers for jobs and assignments free of charge under Offer a job. In order to do so, please register your organisation with the portal first.

Subsequently, fill in the appropriate job form on your screen under Offer a job.

Edit, delete and administer your offers in the Offer a job section.

You may decide whether in your job offer you:

  • state your direct contact details,
  • give a link to your own online application form, or
  • whether you would initially like applicants to contact you (anonymously, if requested) via the Alumniportal Deutschland

Only registered users can see your job offers in their entirety. Non-registered users only get basic information.

The job and candidate exchange platform is made available free of charge to all users by the APD team. However, we do not engage in job placements and do not suggest potentially suitable candidates for the jobs on offer.

Find Specialists

You can find candidates in the Find Candidates section. For reasons of data protection, candidate profiles will be displayed anonymously during your search.

You may contact applicants using the contact form included in the candidate profile and ask him/her to get back to you.

Market Yourself

You may present your company or your organisation to the alumni community in the Employers' Portraits section.

Germany Alumni will be particularly interested to read about your activities abroad, current and future projects, joint ventures with companies from abroad, traineeships, etc.

To be able to use the Employers' Portraits section you have to register as an organisation.

After registering, you may activate the Employers' Portraits section in your Community profile and to enter relevant data for publication.

Please note: While job offers, candidate profiles and Community profiles are only accessible for registered users, all visitors to the site will be able to view the Employer Portraits section.

Exchange Information and Find Partners

As registered organisation (company, society, etc.), you are free to use the Community as well:

  • participate in or set up discussion groups,
  • set up networks (e.g. partners or branches),
  • manage files,
  • publish your organisation’s current job offers and events in your profile,
  • meet Germany Alumni from all over the world,
  • automatically receive information on new candidates via widgets on your home page.

As an organisation you can choose whether your Community profile will be accessible to other users. For participation in groups and forums, however, it is mandatory that you identify yourself.

Make Suggestions

This platform depends on user participation. If, based on your experience, you would like to give advice and make suggestions to APD or Germany Alumni, please do not hesitate to contact us at: apd(at)agef.de.
