The Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag, DIHK) is the central organisation for 80 Chambers of Commerce and Industry, CCI (Industrie- und Handelskammern, IHKs) in Germany.

It therefore speaks on behalf of companies of all sizes and from all sectors – from the kiosk owner on the corner to the international automotive group. For 150 years it has been committed to ensuring framework conditions which promote growth and prosperity: to freedom and competition, to open markets, to a stable currency, to good education and good infrastructure.

It coordinates the 120 locations worldwide of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (GCCA), delegations and representative offices of German business in 80 countries around the world. This is where companies can find answers to many questions concerning their involvement in foreign markets. Through the GCCA the DIHK knows what businesses need for their involvement abroad.
