Main challenges in the development and implementation of your idea
The biggest challenge is teaching AI to recognize subtle, context-dependent microaggressions across diverse cultures and languages without overcorrecting or mislabeling harmless communication. Balancing accuracy with empathy requires constant refinement, community input, and transparent feedback loops to ensure trust and usability.
Expectations from the challenge
From the 2025 Community Challenge, I hope to gain valuable mentorship, feedback, and collaboration opportunities to refine and pilot my Compassion Filter tool. Engaging with a diverse network of experts and peers will help me ensure the solution is culturally sensitive, technically robust, and truly impactful in promoting inclusive mental health and communication.
