Main challenges in the development and implementation of your idea

The main challenges involve aligning incentives across multiple stakeholders—employers, employees, and social insurers. Employers may perceive the program as extra administrative work or unnecessary, while younger employees might not prioritize mental and physiological support. Insurers require proof of cost-effectiveness, and consistent implementation across sectors and countries with differing regulations is complex. Integrating comprehensive support for previously excluded groups adds further logistical and monitoring challenges.

Expectations from the challenge

I expect the challenge to provide a platform to refine and validate SafeFlex, connect with experts, and receive constructive feedback. Participation offers opportunities to demonstrate the feasibility and impact of integrating flexible work with physiological and psychological support under social insurance frameworks, and to attract potential partners or pilot organizations for real-world implementation.
