AUFTRAG - Association of United Filipinos Trained in Germany

Basic facts about the network

AUFTRAG is a group of Filipino scholars trained in various programs held in Germany with special focus on education, information technology, human resource development, trade and investment promotions, environmental management, local government through InWent - Capacity Building international (now GIZ), Germany.

AUFTRAG is a non-stock, non-profit organization, internationally recognized service provider, dynamic, responsive and multi-disciplinary group of professionals working towards sustainable development.


  • To enhance the capabilities of members, together with partner institutions, in the fields of development management, research, training, and peace building;
  • To conceptualize, organize, and implement community-based projects related to research, technical training, and pertinent capability enhancement programs that will promote peace and sustainable development of specific pre-determined areas; and
  • To undertake advocacy programs directed to decision-makers for the adoption of laws and policies (local, national, corporate) that lead to peace and sustainable development.

Cycling for the Sustainable Development Goals

On the occasion of the 3rd year anniversary of the SEAG-N,  two of the founding network members – UniFELD and AUFTRAG  – organized a synchronized cycling event in the Philippines under the motto “Cycle, Recycle, Revive and Survive”.
