 ‘I was in Berlin soon after the Wall came down. My first impression was rather overwhelming. I stood directly next to the Wall and took a few bricks with me. It was first time I had ever seen skyscrapers, or drunk a Coke, Fanta and Sprite. We didn't have any of these things in the Soviet Union.’
