The SDG Alumni Network Challenge 2017-2018: the winning teams introduce their projects

Last year the Alumniportal Deutschland set up The SDG Alumni Network Challenge 2017-2018”.  Alumni networks were invited to apply for this competition and to develop an own idea for a project that will help ensure a more sustainable and better future in their country, region or city.

The competition reflected the spirit of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals with a focus is on quality education (goal 4) , decent work and economic growth (goal 8), responsible consumption and production (goal 12) and the topic of migration.

There was a huge range of topics in all the applications to choose from. At the end of last year a panel of experts selected the best project concepts and the Alumniportal Deutschland award each winning team up to EUR 5,000 to get their projects off the ground.

Now we would like to present these projects on the Alumniportal Deutschland and have asked the winning teams to present their network and their projects.

This year we have been invited to participate at the SDG Event to take off in April 2020 in Bonn
We are looking for support to enable us to travel and join the event participants.

The deadline for application was on November 1st, 2017. After this date the online application form was deactivated. If you submitted your application after the closing date, unfortunately we could not take it into account.
