Inequality Challenge: Call for Applications
Recent statistics show a global trend towards alarmingly high and rising inequalities. Therefore, more than ever there is a crucial need to develop targeted measures to reduce inequality in a sustainable manner, and take along those left behind. These important topics, however, are still not sufficiently emphasised in German Development Cooperation.
Against this backdrop, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has launched the Inequality Challenge – Innovative Solutions for a Global Issue.
The Inequality Challenge is a fund that promotes innovative approaches, methods and tools that focus on reducing inequality and on the poorest and most marginalised people and groups. The fund supports projects in partner countries of German Development Cooperation with up to 100,000 Euro per proposal. The fund is open to GIZ projects, political partners and NGOs, including think tanks and networks.
Apply now! The call for applications is open until 31 March 2018.
Please go to www.inequality-challenge.com for further information on the fund and the application process.
We are counting on your contribution to reducing inequality and leaving no one behind.
