The “Talents for Africa” programme is part of the Bayer Fellowship Programme, which targets students and apprentices in scientific and medical disciplines. Its goal is to support the next generation of researchers and teachers as they engage in “Science for a Better Life”.
The Fellowship Programme consists of five scholarship programmes that offer tailored financial support. Important requirements for the support: The project to be supported must be innovative and international. Scholarships are granted to students and young professionals (up to two years after graduation) from Germany wishing to realize a study or research project abroad or to foreign students/young professionals pursuing a project in Germany.
Who can apply?
The programme “Talents for Africa” is aimed at German students and young professionals with up to two years of work experience who would like to do a study project or gain practical work experience in Africa. It is also open to students in Africa who would like to study, research or complete an internship in Germany. Students and young professionals with credentials in the subjects listed above can apply.
The next round of applications must be submitted until July 18, 2017.
