The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is one of the four cooperation partners implementing the Alumniportal Deutschland.
Every year, the DAAD supports far over 70,000 German and international students and academics around the globe - making it the world's largest funding organization of its kind. It also contributes to the internationalization of German universities, supports developing countries in building up their education systems, and promotes German studies and the German language abroad. The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program is one of the most internationally renowned scholarship programs for artists. For many years, the DAAD has been fostering the ties between DAAD alumni and Germany.
