Live stream: 8 June 2017
Recording of the live stream available!
Zero Waste is a philosophy that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles so that all products are reused. No trash is sent to landfills or incinerators. The process recommended is one similar to the way that resources are reused in nature. But can “zero waste” really be zero? And is green lifestyle affordable for everyone?
Ieva Lace, world explorer and development project enthusiast working for several international NGOs in West Afrika and South-East Asia, and Maija Kale from Alumniportal Deutschland challenge the concept of “zero waste” in this webinar and answer questions like:
- What should I know currently about green initiatives?
- Is “zero waste” and other green initiatives the silver bullet towards green lifestyle?
- What are the current trends and why they are economically beneficial for the society?
Watch the recording of the webinar on zero waste and learn about the current trends in industry like hydroponics and permaculture and their impact on overall global green initiatives.
