The Online Event Series of AGEP and Alumniportal Deutschland is here to help. We offer a mix of workshops, seminars, presentations and discussions, focusing on highlighting your strengths and international experience.

Learn about the job application process, application documents, pros and cons for a career in research, financial support programs like Diaspora2023, and receive personalized career coaching. Whether you attend all activities or select specific sessions, we're dedicated to help you preparing for a successful professional start or return. Join us on this transformative journey.

Who can attend?

All international students and graduates of postgraduate study programmes oriented to developing and threshold countries as well as countries with economies in transition. 

Please note that a membership on and then joining the (for free) is required to attend. 

Workshop: Life Design Thinking

Exploring and developing your strengths and your vision for a successful job engagement. The workshop will offer you a space to explore and identify your strengths and visions for your workplace. We will do this by searching for answers to some very important basic questions: Who am I? What am I good at? What are my talents? What am I curious about? What do I deeply care about? How do I want to support the world? What makes me come alive? What excites me?

Seminar: Compelling Application Documents

📅 No deadline. Applications can be formally submitted on a continual basis.

Virtual career coaching for graduates or last semester students who participated in at least three session of this series and who fulfil the requirements of the Alumniportal. Let the experienced career coaches help you with the career planing, optimize your job application or receive tips on how to impress and deliver in a job interview.
