Infographics: Realising the 2030 Agenda – but how?

The 2030 Agenda is more than the sum of its individual components, they say. But what exactly is this “more”? What is the impact of the 2030 Agenda for my own project work? How should I do change my actions?

All the answers to these questions can be found in the 38-page resolution of the UN’s General Assembly “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. In addition to the 17 goals, it also sets an operational framework. Five guiding principles have been developed from the aims, methods and targets formulated in this resolution: the so-called implementation principles.

What are these “implementation principles” all about? Find out more in our infographics “Realising the vision of the 2030 Agenda” – but how?”

There are many visions of a better future – and many individuals and institutions working towards them. But we have still not achieved enough. So, what do we have to change? The 2030 Agenda was the first to define crucial global challenges and to show the international community a way of solving them by the year 2030, so that coming generations will have a chance of a fulfilled life.
