SD Talks Special Series on Climate Action

Organized by the UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development in partnership with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the SD Talks Special Series on Climate Action is a 7-episode webinar series that aims to advance knowledge and further dialogue around Climate Action, in the lead up to and during COP 23 which will take place in November in Bonn, Germany.

The SD Talks Special Series on Climate Action will feature 7 webinars from May until December that will focus on different aspects around Climate Action and sustainable development. The full list of upcoming webinars in this series is available online where you can also see dedicated registration links. Each webinar will be followed by a live Q&A session where participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with high-level speakers.

Webinar#8 | COP 23: From Bonn to the World – Outcomes and Next Steps for a Sustainable 21st Century
6 December 2017; 3:15 pm (GMT+02:00)

This webinar will feature Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC, who will discuss the key outcomes of COP 23, including with respect to the negotiations and the implementation of the Paris Agreement. This webinar will also highlight the measures undertaken by non-party stakeholders and will underline the next steps following COP 23.

SD Talks is a webinar series by the UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development that features live webinars with high-level speakers and subject-matter experts on issues related to sustainable development and Agenda 2030. SD Talks provides a space for knowledge-sharing, shapes discussions and furthers dialogue around sustainable development, which can be accessed by audiences all over the world free of charge.
