Virtual Coffee Break on the Alumniportal Germany

Topic: The implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Mexico

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are our common compass to tackle social, economic and environmental problems that affect our societies. In the times of pandemic, this Agenda and the SDGs have become more relevant than ever as a roadmap to guide efforts led by public and private sector, academia and civil society organizations towards sustainable development and the current challenges derived from COVID-19. For their part, social innovation and social entrepreneurship initiatives in the country are contributing to respond to those challenges and to achieve the SDGs through solutions with greater social, economic and environmental impact. In this virtual coffe break with DAAD alumna Durdana Prado we will discuss the importance of social Innovation and social enterpreneurship initiatives, and their contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs in Mexico vis-à-vis COVID-19
