Come and participate in the UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE AFRICA (UCA) taking place within the framework of IFAT Africa 2017, trade fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling in Johannesburg from September 12-14, 2017. Student teams from African universities in South-Africa prove their skills and compete against each other in the following two activities:
1) IWRM – Integrated Water Resources Management
Infrastructure measures from water management, waste management and energy management have to be combined using DWA environment cards.
The winning team will participate in the Young Water Professionals‘ Programme in Munich (Germany) in May 2018. Participation as well as travel costs are sponsored by the Wilo-Foundation.
Awards ceremony: 14.30 – 15.00 h
Student teams prove their skills in researching and gathering information at the fair, focusing on a fictitious employer. The accumulated knowledge needs to be applied by writing a reporting with a pre-defined focus. Further information follows on-site.
