Apply now: Journalism Traineeship at Deutsche Welle
Applications for the journalism traineeship 2019 are being accepted until 11 January 2019. The Deutsche Welle offers the only bilingual and crossmedia journalism traineeship in Germany.
For their bilingual journalism traineeship, Deutsche Welle (DW) is looking for creative people from all over the world interested in a comprehensive, high quality journalism program with an international broadcaster. The 18-months program covers the range of skills a journalist of the future needs: TV moderation, multimedia storytelling, data journalism, social media and virtual reality - in seminars, workshops and of course the DW editorial offices and correspondent bureaux in Washington, Moscow and Brussels. During the bilingual traineeship (German and English), DW trainees are involved in long-term innovative, international projects.
The traineeship is remunerated (about 1800 euros per month) and usually leads to a further employment at DW, as editors, reporters or correspondents. Possible costs for visas and the further application process are covered by Deutsche Welle.
